Clare Cousins

Clare is currently a Learning Assistant in Supported Education, and works mainly with the Skillsbuilder 1 and Skillsbuilder 2 courses, she holds the following qualifications BA (Hons) Geography, Birmingham University, PGDip Occupational Therapy, Queen Margaret University.

Before joining UHI Inverness, she worked as an Occupational Therapist with Adults with Learning Disabilities for NHS Highland.

She is the co-founder of a social enterprise, The Cooking Club. The Cooking Club aims to make cooking more accessible for everyone and particularly for adults with learning disabilities.  She is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists and the Health & Care Professions Council.

Clare enjoys outdoor activities, such as walking, cycling and gardening. She also enjoys researching and developing recipes for The Cooking Club.
