Douglas teaches computing programmes.

Professional background:

Douglas started his career as a sound engineer, recording bands and working on short films. He became increasingly interested in developing tools for other creative practitioners and started getting involved in software development.

Alongside his work at Inverness College UHI, Douglas develops audio tools for the film and games industries. His products have been used to create the voices of characters in many of the top grossing films and games released in the last few years, including Jungle Book, the Avengers franchise, Doom and EVE Online.

Interesting fact:

Douglas is a 3rd Dan in Kendo (Japanese fencing) and competes in national and international competitions.
