Interests
I am interested in the promotion of women in Physics and improving the perception of the career opportunities which come from the study of Physics across all disciplines. I also have an interest in the use of Nuclear Fuel to produce energy and combat climate change, following research and development of new Nuclear in the hope that Government and public perception of Nuclear Energy can change.
I am a keen Open Water Swimmer having completed many events, including a 10 km endurance swim, a sub 5° Ice Swim, a crossing of the Arctic Circle and across the Corryvrechan whirlpool, all without a wetsuit. I also enjoy walking, running and baking, which is always well deserved after a cold swim.
