Jayden Wallace (16) from Merkinch studied the CECA Scotland Academy Civil Engineering Operations course after fifth year because he felt he had achieved all he wanted in school.  

Jayden said: “The highlights of the CECA course were meeting new people and learning new skills. The teaching style and mix of coursework and practical work, as well as the way things were taught, made things easy to understand. 

“The course has opened up the potential of a job in civil engineering, but regardless I have gained a qualification which will look good on my CV.”
