David Cameron
David studied our Childcare and Men in Practice programme before progressing to our HNC in Childhood Practice.
“I was unhappy with my job - I wanted something I would enjoy, something I was good at and where I could make a difference. I enjoyed that the course was just for men, so we all had similar feelings of uncertainness, but they were quickly washed away by the lecturers. Everyone was really supportive, which left me feeling so positive.”
Deanna Green
Deanna Green studied our Childhood Practice SCQF Level 6 before progressing to the HNC in Childhood Practice. She did her work placements in Highland Council school nurseries and is now employed through its supply bank.
“I have learnt so much and have really grown as a person. The work placements are great because you can apply what you learn in the classroom to the workplace. I’ve loved it.”
