Jane Ross

Jane is a full time lecturer in the beauty therapy department and teaches on the HNC fashion make-up course. Her career in teaching spans over a decade, Majority of which were with UHI. Previous to this her experience in industry includes salon and spa experience, salon management and running her own beauty therapy business.

She is qualified in a wide variety of treatments and professional brands, including aesthetic treatments such as lash extensions, brow artistry, Make-up and advanced waxing, to holistic treatments such as stone massage, Indian head massage, reflexology and aromatherapy and enjoys seeing the growth of her students from education into budding therapists and salon owners.

Within UHI Inverness, she is proactive in organising external visits and trips for the students to participate in; including The International Make-up artistry Trade show (IMATS) in London and the Scottish hair and beauty show in Glasgow.
