Cameron Reid

Cameron worked as a landscape gardener in Glasgow before moving to Inverness to study our Certificate in Forestry. He progressed on to do the HNC, HND and BSc Forest Management. This included one year in industry with the estates management team at Roseberry Estate, Edinburgh.

"Inverness has the best forestry programme in Scotland, with site visits nearly every week and a great group of staff. It really is one big forestry family. The Scottish School of Forestry is set within its own forest, which students manage and we constantly have guest speakers from industry in talking to us."

Cameron got his professional chartership with the Institute of Chartered Foresters and now works for Glennon Brothers, Troon, as a trainee harvesting manager. He finished his studied in May 2019 and will graduate in October 2019.
