This module introduces you to the study of development and individual differences. It will explore theoretical explanations of development and the influences on development through the age span.
You will investigate the debates implicit to an exploration of development and individual differences: namely: nature/nurture, continuous/discontinuous development, and the role of ethics in studying development. You will also have an opportunity to investigate the developmental and individual difference theories, perspectives, literature and issues, with a particular focus on children and young people.
