I have always had a strong interest in Biology and a fascination for the marine realm. I completed a BSc in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry in India in 2015 and then pursued an MSc degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation in Belgium and Ireland. The courses, internships and surveys, I have worked on, led me to develop an interest in the impacts of human activities on aquatic environments and its inhabitants. I moved to Scotland and joined the RLI as a PhD student in November, 2018.
