Renewed impactful research collaboration between UHI and SRUC
In the middle of the May the first of a series of events aiming at stimulating renewed impactful research collaboration between UHI and SRUC was held at An Lochran. Members of Institute for Biodiversity and Freshwater Conservation and the Centre for Living Sustainability represented UHI Inverness at the workshop. It aimed to find points of common interest, identify emerging interdisciplinary themes, build a collaborative research environment and support early career researchers and applied research initiatives.
There were eight structured presentations on topics such as environmental science, social science, rurality, arts and humanities and focused on where there is connectivity and potential commercial outputs.
