Rural Healthcare: Past, Present and Future

content

To co-construct with community residents, a vision for future rural health and care services (including NHS, social care and the community sector) that can help inform policy and services planning as well as demonstrate the lessons learned from rural health and care that could be important elsewhere.

A participatory approach was taken to co-create artworks exploring rural healthcare in the past, the present and the future. A story-stem methodology was used to explore people's visions of healthcare in the future, with key themes from responses being use of technology., holistic treatment, isolation and community.
