Research in 'creative practice' fosters vibrant interdisciplinary connections with the diverse research themes supported by the Centre for Living Sustainability. We are committed to making positive impact on our communities: local, regional, and international. This entails active development of creative methods to produce transformative research relevant to the pressing social and environmental needs of the present time. Creative approaches to research allow for playful exploration of difficult questions, facilitate connections with hard-to-reach communities, and have potential for material impact on social policy.  Our research thrives in a tertiary context spanning further and higher education sectors and has deep connections with learning and teaching.
