Host Families

Inverness College UHI is seeking local families to host international students for short and longer-term stays.

There are many reasons to become a host such as: The chance to meet students from all over the world, experiencing and understanding different cultures and traditions, the opportunity to share your home country’s traditions and cultures, and supplementary income and prompt monthly payments.

Hosts providing room only accommodation receive £80 per week while hosts that provide catering will receive £110 per week.

We are currently seeking hosts who are able to provide room and half board accommodation from 31 May – 23 June during our summer school period for a group of students coming from the USA and hosts to provide accommodation throughout the academic year.

If you’ve thought about hosting before but weren’t sure whether or not it was something you wanted to commit to long-term, this is a perfect opportunity!
