Learning Centre

Inverness College Learning Centre  (LC)
The LC is situated on the Longman campus and offers a wide range of materials to support your learning during your time at College, including books, journals, multimedia and online resources.  The Scottish School of Forestry has a small library at its Balloch site, and a book-drop facility is available at the Midmills campus.

You will have access to thousands of online journals, databases and e-books via the UHI Library Service and you can borrow material from other colleges and universities through the Inter-Site and Inter-Library Loan Service.

The LC has over 80 PCs available for use, and if you want to bring your own laptop, you can use our Wi-Fi network.

There are colour and black and white printers, a photocopier and scanners to help you produce your coursework.  LC staff are on hand to help you with your enquiries, and an ICT Technician is available to help you with any computer-related issues.  A number of leaflets and guides have also been produced to help you get the most from your time in the LC.
